About Capital Infra Trust (erstwhile National Infrastructure Trust)

The Trust has been registered with the SEBI as an InvIT under the SEBI InvIT Regulations, on March 07, 2024 having registration number IN/INVIT/23-24/00029. An updated certificate of registration dated October 16, 2024, bearing registration number IN/InvIT/23-24/0029, was issued to the Trust, by SEBI pursuant to change of name of the Trust to “Capital Infra Trust” in accordance with the SEBI InvIT Regulations. The Sponsor irrevocably transferred to the Trust an amount of ₹ 5100 towards the initial corpus of the Capital Infra Trust (erstwhile National Infrastructure Trust), with an intention to settle and establish the Capital Infra Trust (erstwhile National Infrastructure Trust). This initial corpus of the Capital Infra Trust (erstwhile National Infrastructure Trust) shall in no event, be distributed to the Sponsor.

InvIT Structure

Trust manages a diversified portfolio of Infrastructure assets through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). Our operational highway projects function as independent entities within the InvIT umbrella. This structure offers several advantages: it isolates financial risk for each project, protects investor assets, and streamlines project management. InvIT fosters a balance between portfolio diversification and project-level control, ensuring efficient management and long-term value creation for investors.

This structure offers three key benefits: Isolation, Efficiency, and Security. By isolating financial risk for each project, streamlining management, and pooling of cash flow InvIT ensures protection of investor assets and contributes to long-term portfolio value.
